Wall Skirting

Wall skirting, also known as baseboard or simply skirting, is a trim that is installed at the bottom of a wall where it meets the floor. It is designed to cover the joint between the wall and the floor, and to protect the wall from scuffs, scratches, and other damage that can occur from foot traffic, vacuum cleaners, and other objects that come into contact with the wall.

Wall skirting is available in a wide range of materials, including wood, MDF, PVC, and metal, and in various sizes and styles to match different decor styles. It can be installed by nailing or gluing it to the wall, and may also include a cove shape at the bottom to allow for easy cleaning and maintenance.

In addition to its practical function, wall skirting can also be used to enhance the appearance of a room and create a more finished look. It can be painted or stained to match the color of the walls or floor, or used as a contrasting accent to add visual interest to a space.
